<br />Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be awarded

<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS
<br />INTERIOR/EXTERIOR PAINT AND TRAFFIC PAINT
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. George Zana, Purchasing Manager, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to items. Therefore, upon a motion made by
<br />Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was
<br />approved, subject to the review of the use of solvents in the bid specifications.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS JANITORIAL

<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Equipment Services, requested
<br />permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referred to equipment, for use by the Park
<br />Department. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br />request to advertise for the receipt of bids was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 5 - IRONWOOD DRIVE
<br />RECONSTRUCTION - IRONWOOD/INWOOD LIFT STATION DESIGN
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and
<br />DLZ Indiana, 2211 East Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana, for the Ironwood Drive
<br />Reconstruction/Ironwood & Inwood Lift Station design. It was noted that the Agreement has no
<br />affect on the fee contract amount for the above mentioned project. The Agreement reallocates
<br />service fees from underutilized tasks to construction phase services and right of way management
<br />services with no change to the total contract amount. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Inks,
<br />seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the Agreement was approved and executed.
<br />APPROVAL OF BUILDING BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT - NEAR NORTHWEST
<br />NEIGHBORHOOD, INC.
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of South Bend and
<br />the Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc., 1005 Portage, South Bend, Indiana, for landscaping the
