<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - BW BUSINESS
<br />PARK - PHASE TWO - PROJECT NO. 101-024
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl Littrell, City Engineer, requested permission to advertise
<br />for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell stated that this project will install
<br />sanitary sewer and water main extensions in the BW Business Park at Blackthorn. Therefore, upon
<br />a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the request to advertise for the
<br />receipt of bids was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REOUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - POPPY ROAD
<br />TRUNK SEWER EXTENSION - PROJECT NO. 101-023
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl Littrell, City Engineer, requested permission to advertise
<br />for the receipt of bids for the above referred to project. Mr. Littrell stated that this project will
<br />construct sanitary sewers and water mains on Poppy Road. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Inks, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REOUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS - 2001 STREET
<br />MATERIALS
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Carl Littrell, City Engineer, requested permission to advertise
<br />for the receipt of bids for the above referred to materials. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the request to advertise for the receipt of bids was
<br />approved.
<br />REQUEST FOR REFERRAL
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that a License Application for a Transient Merchant License for the 4H Fair
<br />Grounds, as submitted by Mr. Frank Ronchetti, 5117 South Ironwood, South Bend, Indiana, was
<br />presented to the Board for recommendation. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms.
<br />Roemer and carried, the License Application was referred to various City departments for their
<br />recommendations.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT PROTEST PROCESSION
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. Richard Dolezal, 451 Johnson, Trail Creek, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to protest procession on April 13, 2001, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at 1701 Miami Street,
<br />South Bend, Indiana. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT 1NFANCIA AMERICANA PARADE
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. Frederico Thon, Infancia Mexicana, Post Office Box 8042, South Bend, Indiana
<br />to conduct the above referred to parade, on May 5, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on the
<br />designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and
<br />carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - OPEN AIR STAND
<br />Mr. Gilot advised that the following license applications have been received:

<br />Sale of Hot Dogs Sale of Fruits and Vegetables
<br />March 1 - April 1, 2001 June through September, 2001

<br />Saturdays once a month; May through September, 2001
