REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 12, 2001 <br />Options: Wiring provisions for horn/siren Add $22.00/Vehicle <br />Wiring provisions for grille lamps <br />Flasher, speaker Add $69.00/Vehicles <br />Engine oil cooler Add $30.00/Vehicle <br />$18,772.00 $938,600.00 <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above bids were referred <br />to Equipment Services for review and recommendation. <br />OPENING /AWARD OF QUOTATIONS -CENTURY CENTER WALL HANGINGS -PROJECT <br />NO. 100-86 <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for <br />the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read: <br />MICHAELANGELO S <br />3371 Cleveland Road <br />South Bend, Indiana 46628 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Michael Bernacchi <br />QUOTATION: $19,595.00 <br />AQUARIUS, INC. <br />135 East 144t' Street <br />Bronx, New York 10451-5435 <br />Quotation was submitted by Mr. Jim Belmont <br />QUOTATION: $49.42/Per Yard <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Ms. Roemer and carried, the above Quotations were <br />referred to the Century Center for review and recommendation. After reviewing those Quotatations, <br />Mr. Eugene Mikolajewski, Century Center, recommends that the Board award the contract to the <br />lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Michaelangelos, in the amount of $19,595.00. Therefore, <br />Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined <br />above. Ms. Roemer seconded the motion which carried. <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - RENOVATION OF MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER <br />FOUNTAIN - PROJECT NO. 101-10 <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for <br />the above referred to project.
