REGULAR MEETING JULY 8, 2002 The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:35 a.m. on Monday, July, 2002; by Broard President Gary A. Gilot, with Mr. Carl P. Littrell and Mr. Donald E. Inks present. Also present was Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board held on June 24, 2002, were approved. OPENING OF BIDS - THREE (3) MORE OR LESS, 2003 4X4 DOOR UTILITY VEHICLES This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referred to equipment. The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News which were found to be sufficient. The following bids were opened and publicly read: GURLEY LEEP FORD INC. 320 East Ireland Road South Bend, Indiana 46614 Bid was signed by the Fleet Manager Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Ten per cent (10%) Bid Bond was submitted :o Three (3) Ford Expedition $27,995.36 Each $83,986.08 (3) GATES CHEVROLET CORPORATION 401 South Lafayette South Bend, Indiana 46601 Bid was signed by Mr. Dave Holland Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Ten per cent (10%) Bid Bond was submitted :n Three (3) 2003 Chevrolet $34,682.00 Each $104,046.00 (3) 3/4 Suburban JORDAN FORD 609 East Jefferson Boulevard Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 Bid was signed by Mr. Geoffrey Kelleher Non -Collusion Affidavit was in order Non -Discrimination Commitment form was completed Ten per cent (10%) Bid Bond was submitted BID: Three (3) Ford Excursion $30,130.00 Each $90,390.00 (3) Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above bids were referred to Central Services for review and recommendation.
