<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION TO CLOSE STREET - BULLA FROM ELMER TO
<br />HUEY - GRADUATION PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Darlene Fennessee, 1525 North Huey, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party on June 22, 2002, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded
<br />by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - SUNNYMEDE FROM
<br />TWYCKENHAM TO GREENLAWN - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Thomas Wisniewski, 1620 Sunnymede, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block
<br />party on July 4, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded
<br />by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - WILBER FROM PORTAGE TO
<br />MARQUETTE - BLOCK PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms.
<br />Cynthia Luoma, 1825 Wilber, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to block party on
<br />July 4, 2002, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr.
<br />Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CLOSE STREET - VASSAR FROM JOHNSON TO
<br />BROOKFIELD - ANNIVERSARY PARTY
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Calvin
<br />Winston, 1050 North Johnson, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to event on July
<br />13, 2002, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks
<br />and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT STUDEBAKER DRIVER'S CLUB
<br />PROCESSION
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Code Enforcement, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. Patrick Billey, Post Office Box, South Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred
<br />to procession, on June 27, 2002, on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CHANGE TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS FOR 4H FAIR
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Police Department, Park Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. Frank Ronchetti, 4H Fair, 5117 South Ironwood, South Bend, Indiana, to change
<br />traffic restrictions at Ironwood and Jackson and Jackson and York Road, from July 29 through August
<br />3, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in conjunction with the 4H Fair. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following license
<br />applications were approved:

<br />126 North Main
<br />Ampco System Parking
<br />121 East Wayne
<br />Ampco System Parking
<br />I I I South Michigan
<br />The above licence applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for
<br />issuance of a license. It was noted that the required Proof of Insurance as well as the hours and rates
<br />
