0134 REGULAR MEETING MAY 13, 2002 APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ANNUAL CROP WALK - UNITED RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Carol Mayernick, United Religious Community, 2015 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on September 29, 2002, beginning at 2:00 p.m., on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ANNUAL WORLD WIDE MARCH FOR JESUS Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Mark Edwards, 833 South 30`h Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on May 18, 2002, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT LOYALTY DAY WALK Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Earl Pickens, 821 Greenview, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on May 4, 2002, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT WEST SIDE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Adeline Jaskowiak, 727 South Illinois, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to parade on May 27, 2002, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RIVER PARK PARADE Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. David Nufer, River Park Business Association, Post Office Box 6695, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to parade on June 1, 2001, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT CRIME STOPPERS MOONLIGHT WALK AGAINST CRIME Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Michael Shlakman, Crime Stoppers, 701 West Sample, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on July 11, 2002, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT CINCO DE MAYO WALK Mr. Littrell stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Jesusa Rodriguez, Infancia Mexicana, Post Office Box 8042, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on May 4, 2002, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved.
