<br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 14, 2002
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT ST. JOSEPH COUNTY RIGHT -TO
<br />LIFE -PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION
<br />Mr. Inks stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Ms. Kathleen Black, St. Joseph Country Right to Life, 320 North Lafayette, South
<br />Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to peaceful demonstration on January 22, 2002, from
<br />12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m, on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br />seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MARCH
<br />FOR LIFE
<br />Mr. Inks stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Mr. James Riordan, Knights of Columbus, 553 East Washington, South Bend, Indiana
<br />to conduct the above referred to march on January 20, 2002, on the designated route as submitted.
<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT MARTIN LUTHER KING HOLIDAY
<br />MARCH
<br />Mr. Inks stated that favorable recommendations have been received by the Division of Engineering,
<br />Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as
<br />submitted by Ms. Gladys Muhammad, Martin Luther King Foundation, 914 Lincolnway West, South
<br />Bend, Indiana to conduct the above referred to march on January 21, 2002, on the designated route
<br />as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br />recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVE CONTRACTOR/OCCUPANCY BONDS
<br />Mr. Anthony Molnar, Engineer, Division of Engineering, recommended that the following
<br />Contractor and Occupancy Bonds be approved as follows:
<br />BOND OF CONTRACTOR
<br />Lone Wolf Enterprises, LLC
<br />OCCUPANCY BOND
<br />Casteel Construction
<br />Approved January 2, 2002
<br />Pursuant to Resolution No. 100-2000
<br />101 West Colfax/North End of Woodward Court
<br />$10,000 Bond
<br />Mr. Littrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and that the Bonds be approved as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried.

<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following Certificates
