0316 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />AUGUST 25, 2003 <br />APPROVAL OF HOUSE MOVES <br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Don Fozo, Building Commissioner, requested approval to issue <br />a moving permit to Lykowski Construction to move two (2) residential dwellings from 201 South <br />Chapin directly across the street. Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been <br />received by the utility companies, Traffic and Lighting, Street Department, Signal Shop and the <br />Police Department. Additionally, the Certificate of Insurance has been submitted, and all the <br />appropriate permits have been issued. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following traffic control <br />devices were approved: <br />New Installation - One Hour <br />Parking, lam to 6pm <br />1017-1021 Lincolnway West <br />Per citizens' requests. <br />New Installation - Reserved <br />3421 Pleasant <br />All criteria has been met. <br />Handicapped Parking Space <br />Signs <br />New Installation - Reserved <br />923 East Dayton <br />All criteria has been met. <br />Handicapped Parking Space <br />Signs <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 62-2003 - DISPOSAL OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following Resolution <br />was adopted by the Board of Public Works: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 62-2003 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />ON DISPOSAL OF UNFIT AND/OR OBSOLETE PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board of Public Works that the following property is <br />unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and is no longer needed by the City of South Bend: <br />SEE ATTACHED LISTING <br />WHEREAS, Indiana Code 5-22-22-1 permits and establishes procedure for disposal of <br />personal property which is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended and which is no longer <br />needed by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South <br />Bend that the items listed above are no longer needed by the City; is unfit for the purpose for which <br />they were intended and have an estimated value of less than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said items may be transferred or sold at public auction <br />or private sale, without advertising.
