<br />Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded

<br />AWARD BID - ONE (1) NEW AERIAL TOWER TRUCK - UTILITY TRUCK EOUIPMENT -
<br />TRAFFIC AND LIGHTING
<br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Central Services, advised the Board that on July 14, 2003, bids
<br />were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidder, Utility Truck Equipment, Inc., 23893 U.S. 33 South, Circleville, Ohio, in the amount of
<br />$87,363.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid
<br />be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - ONE (1) STAR SCREENER - SOLID WASTE
<br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Central Services, advised the Board that on July 14, 2003, bids
<br />were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidder, Erin Systems, Inc., 37 Evergreen Drive, Portlane, Maine, in the amount of $211,990.00.
<br />Therefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as
<br />outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - ONE (1) ICE RESURFACER - PARK DEPARTMENT
<br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Central Services, advised the Board that on July 14, 2003, bids
<br />were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidder, Charles R. Mueller & Sons, Inc., 21500 Gratiot, Eastpointe, Michigan, in the amount of
<br />$68,060.00. It was noted that no responsive bids were received in the bid process, and Central
<br />Services solicited for quotations for this equipment. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the
<br />motion which carried.
<br />AWARD BID - TWO (2) 33 YARD SIDE LOADING REFUSE TRUCKS - SOLID WASTE
<br />Mr. Matthew Chlebowski, Director, Central Services, advised the Board that on July 14, 2003, bids
<br />were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Chlebowski recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible
<br />bidder, Best Equipment, 2804 North Catherwood, Indianapolis, Indiana, in the amount of
<br />$247,576.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid
<br />be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion which carried.

<br />were received and opened for the above referred to equipment. As no responsive bids were received,
<br />Central Services solicited for Quotations. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Chlebowski
<br />recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,
