0262 <br />PUBLIC AGENDA SESSION JULY 24, 2003 <br />Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Pamela <br />Overholser, 1438 East Calvert, South Bend. Indiana, to conduct the above referred to event on July <br />26, 2003, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot <br />and carried, the recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT PARADE - 4H FAIR <br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic & Lighting, Park <br />Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted <br />by Mr. George Beutter, St. Joe County 4H Fairgrounds, 5117 Ironwood, South Bend, Indiana, to <br />conduct the above referred to parade July 28, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the designated <br />route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE PROPERTY - FIRST <br />EAST/WEST EASEMENT SOUTH OF WA.SHINGTON STREET <br />Mr. Littrell indicated that Mr. Don Inks, Community & Economic Development, South Bend, <br />Indiana, has submitted a request to vacate theabove referred to property. Mr. Gilot advised that the <br />Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this Vacation Petition from the Police <br />Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, Department of Economic Development and the <br />Department of Public Works. Area plan stated this public ingress/egress easement be vacated <br />subject to any utility easements that are necessary. Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Clerk send a <br />letter to the petitioner addressing these concerns. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion which carried. <br />The Clerk was instructed to post the agenda and notify the media and other persons who have <br />requested notice of the meeting agenda.
