0185 REGULAR MEETING QUOTATION $1,050.00 $1,080.00 - 1000 $1,110.00 - 1,500 $1,130.00 - 2,000 JUNE 9, 2003 Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the above Quotations were referred to Community & Economic Development for review and recommendation. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - LINCOLNWAY WEST CORRIDOR - TREE PLANTING - PROJECT NO. 103-046 Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project. No Quotations were received. OPENING OF QUOTATIONS/AWARD QUOTATION - SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT - SOUTHEAST NEIGHBORHOOD PARK - PROJECT NO. 103-037 Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project. The following Quotations were opened and read: SMALL INC. 25190 State Road 4 North Liberty, Indiana 46554 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Angelo Struble QUOTATION: $21,337.00 HERRMAN & GOETZ 225 South Lafayette South Bend, Indiana 46601 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Thomas Herrman QUOTATION: $42,210.00 YOUNGS EXCAVATING, INC. Post Office Box 2766 South Bend, Indiana 46628 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Kurt Youngs QUOTATION: $26,337.00 HRP CONSTRUCTION, INC. 5777 Cleveland Road South Bend, Indiana 46628 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Paul Fallon QUOTATION: $28,479.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above Quotations were referred to Engineering for review and recommendation. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Jason Durr, Engineering, recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Small, Inc., in the amount of $21,337.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion which carried. h 1 1
