<br />DENY PETITION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RESIDENTIAL PARKING
<br />ZONE — 1000 BLOCK SOUTH 21 sT
<br />Ms. Jan Lassus, 1018 South 21St, Street, South Bend, Indiana, submitted a Petition for the
<br />Establishment of a Residential Parking Zone in the 1000 block of South 21" Street. A
<br />parking study was conducted on October 26, 2005. The study found that the criteria of
<br />Municipal Code, Article 10, Section 20-114 had not been met. The 1000 block of 21`t
<br />Street, east side, showed 43% occupancy and 8% occupancy by non-resident. The 1000
<br />block of 21 st Street, west side, showed 21 % occupancy and only 8% occupancy by non-
<br />resident. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the
<br />petition was denied.
<br />APPROVE CONSENT TO ANNEXATION AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS TO
<br />REMONSTRATE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CITY COMPACT FEES
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a Consent to Annexation and Waiver of
<br />Right to remonstrate as submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heaney, 60145 Locust Road,
<br />South Bend, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap
<br />into public sanitary water system of the City, to provide sanitary water service to 60145
<br />Locust Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key #01-1016-032808), the Heaney's waive and
<br />release any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending or future
<br />annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a
<br />motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion, which carried.

<br />South Bend, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap
<br />into public sanitary water system of the City, to provide sanitary water service to 54301
<br />Maple Lane, South Bend, Indiana, (Key #01-1016-032808), the Praise Fellowship
<br />Seventhday Adventist Church waives and releases any and all right to remonstrate against
<br />or oppose any pending or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend.
<br />Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the
<br />motion, which carried.

<br />South Bend, Indiana. The Consent indicates that in consideration for permission to tap
<br />into public sanitary water and sewer system of the City, to provide sanitary water and
<br />sewer service to 52514 Hollyhock Road, South Bend, Indiana, (Key #02-1081-3735), the
<br />Hardy's waive and release any and all right to remonstrate against or oppose any pending
<br />or future annexation of the property by the City of South Bend. Therefore, Mr. Gilot
<br />made a motion that the Consent be approved. Mr. Inks seconded the motion, which
<br />carried.
<br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT
<br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Mr. Manuel Bueno, Pretreatment Coordinator, Division
<br />of Environmental Services, submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permit and
<br />recommended approval:

<br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Discharge
<br />Permit was approved.
