REGULAR MEETING JULY 25, 2005 I :.) 3 South Bend, Indiana 46619 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Don Ritschard QUOTATION: $8,423.00 B&J EXCAVATION, INC. 1104 West Donald Street South Bend, Indiana 46613 Quotation was submitted by Mr. Darnell O'Neal QUOTATION: $18,395.00 Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the above Quotations were referred to the Division of Engineering for review and recommendation. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Jason Durr, Engineering, recommends that the Board award the contract to the lowest, responsible and responsive bidder, Warner & Sons, Inc., Post Office Box 87, Elkhart, Indiana, in the amount of $8,390.00. Therefore, Mr. Gilot made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Littrell seconded the motion, which carried. OPENING OF OUOTATIONS — LINCOLNWAY WEST FLOWER PLANTER INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed Quotations for the above referred to project.
