<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION — TO CONDUCT ALZHEIMER'S WALK
<br />2005
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and
<br />Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in
<br />reference to a request as submitted by Mr. M. G. William Jack, Alzheimer's Services of
<br />Northern Indiana, 922 East Colfax Avenue, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above
<br />referred to procession on September 10, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Upon a
<br />motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION — TO CONDUCT HOMEWARD BOUND
<br />WALK-A-THON — CENTER FOR THE HOMELESS
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and
<br />Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in
<br />reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Carla Lowe, Center for the Homeless, 813
<br />South Michigan, South Bend, Indiana, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above
<br />referred to procession on April 17, 2005, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION — TO CONDUCT TAKE BACK THE NIGHT
<br />MARCH — MADISON CENTER
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and
<br />Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in
<br />reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Andrew Poole, Madison Center, 403 East
<br />Madison Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to procession on
<br />April 21, 2005, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded
<br />by Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION — TO CONDUCT WALK AMERICA —
<br />MARCH OF DIMES
<br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and
<br />Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in
<br />reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Carol Hummer, March of Dimes, 2012
<br />Ironwood, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to procession on April 23,
<br />2005, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr.
<br />Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved.
