Rich, Inc. $17,324.00 Construction Contract LaSalle Hotel Vault Fill Project Kaser Spraker Construction $144,100.00 Grant Agreement NNN Access Agreement Bowman Creek NIPSCO APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION — TO CONDUCT "HEART WALK" — AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Alison Martin, American Heart Association, 6100 West 961" Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on October 8, 2005, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT "BREAST CANCER AWARENESS RUN/WALK" — AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department, Police Department and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Ms. Maureen Kennedy, American Cancer Society, 535 West Edison, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to walk on October 8, 2005, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVAL OF SCRAP METAL DEALERS/JUNK DEALERS/RECYCLING OPERATIONS/TRANSFER STATIONS Mr. Gilot stated that the following application has been received: A-1 Auto Parts 2014 South Lafayette It was noted that favorable recommendations have been received by the Fire Department, Water Works and the Department of Code Enforcement. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the License Application was approved. APPROVE LICENSE APPLICATIONS - PUBLIC PARKING FACILITY Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot and carried, the following license applications were approved: Memorial Home Care Memorial Home Care 707 North Michigan 621 Memorial Drive Memorial Home Care 100 Navarre Street The above license applications were approved and referred to the Deputy Controller's Office for issuance of a license, subject to the notation of the proper address of the parking facility. APPROVAL OF PETITIONFOR RESERVED HANDICAPPED PARKING AREA Ms. Vivian Wilson, Mishawka, Indiana, has submitted a petition for Reserved Handicapped Parking Area (paid) at the corner of Jefferson and Lafayette, at the County City Building. All required paperwork has been submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Petition for Reserved Handicapped Parking was approved.
