In his letter, Chief Taylor joined the Board in thardcing him for his <br />commitment, dedication and years of distinguished service to the South Bend Fire Tepartment and <br />the citizens of South Bend. Members also wished him a long and happy retirement. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Mr. BonDurant and carried, the retirement was accepted and <br />approved. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE RETIREMENT -JERRY KENDALL <br />President Rodriguez advised that Chief Luther Taylor has submitted to the Board the Application and <br />Declaration for Retirement for Captain Jerry Kendall effective February 12, 2007. Chief Taylor <br />noted that he has served the Department with loyalty and distinction during the last thirty-five (35) <br />years and three (3) months. In his letter, Chief Taylor joined the Board in thanking him for his <br />commitment, dedication and years of distinguished service to the South Bend Fire Department and <br />the citizens of South Bend. Members also wished him a long and happy retirement. Upon a motion <br />made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Mr. BonDurant and carried, the retirement was accepted and <br />approved. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE RETIREMENT -ROBERT MACIEJEWSKI <br />President Rodriguez advised that Chief Luther Taylor has submitted to the Board the Application and <br />Declaration for Retirement for Battalion Chief Robert Maciejewski effective February 11, 2007. <br />Chief Taylor noted that he has served the Department with loyalty and distinction during the last <br />thirty-eight (38) years and nine (9) months. In his letter, Chief Taylor joined the Board in thanking <br />him for his commitment, dedication and years of distinguished service to the South Bend Fire <br />Department and the citizens of South Bend. Members also wished him a long and happy retirement. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by Mr. BonDurant and carried, the retirement was <br />accepted and approved. <br />' ACCEPT AND APPROVE RETIREMENT -MICHAEL KOZLOSKI <br />President Rodriguez advised- that Chief Luther Taylor has submitted to the Board the Application and <br />Declaration for Retirement for Captain Michael Kozloski effective February 15, 2007. Chief Taylor <br />noted that he has served the Department with loyalty and distinction during the last thirty-five (35) <br />years and five (5) months. In his letter, Chief Taylor joined the Board in thanking him for his <br />commitment, dedication and years of distinguished service to the South Bend Fire Department and <br />the citizens of South Bend. Members also wished him a long and happy retirement.
