Chief `Taylor stated that Captain Damiano's promotion was <br />confirmed by Mayor Luecke. Chief Taylor presented Captain Damiano with his badge and <br />recognized and thanked all the Firefighters who came to the meeting to show their support. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE AMMENDMENT TO THE RECRUIT HIRING LIST <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Taylor requested the recruit hiring list which was submitted to the <br />Board of Public Safety on December 20, 2006, be amended from twelve (12) recruits to ten (10) <br />recruits, and that the two recruits being taken off the list, Andrew Slager and Michael Hewartson, <br />be allowed to attend the next class in 2007. Chief Taylor stated that their requests are in <br />compliance with the hiring clarification policy. Upon a motion made by Mr. Alford, seconded by <br />Ms. Dempsey and carried, the amendment was accepted and approved. <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE REQUEST FOR EXTENDED MEDICAL LEAVE -SERGEANT <br />CHARLES STOKES <br />In a letter to the Board, Chief Fautz requested that the Board accept and approve a request for an <br />extended medical leave of twenty-four (24) calendar days from December 8, 2006 to December <br />30, 2006 for Sergeant Charles Stokes. Upon a motion made by Mr. BonDurant, seconded by Mr. <br />Cottrell and carried, the request was approved. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY STATISTICAL ANALYSIS REPORT -OCTOBER 2006 <br />President Rodriguez indicated that unless there were questions or objections by members of the <br />Board, the statistical analysis report for the month of October 2006 as submitted by the Police <br />Department would be accepted for filing.
