Chief Boykins indicated residential burglaries had increased. <br />There being no questions concerning this report, the Quarterly Report for Specialized Training as <br />submitted was accepted and filed. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT -EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES - 2006 FOOTBALL <br />GAMES -UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME <br />President Rodriguez stated that the Board is in receipt of an Agreement between the City of <br />South Bend and the University of Notre Dame for the 2006 football game season, which <br />comprises of seven (7) home games. Ms. Rodriguez noted that the Agreement is in the amount <br />of $2,425.20 per game. Three (3) Advanced Life Support Units staffed with six (6) certified <br />paramedics; one (1) Advanced Lift Support Unit staffed with two (2) certified Advanced <br />Emergency Medical Technicians; one (1) pazamedic certified by St. Joseph County Advanced <br />Life Support Committee; one (1) paramedic supervisor; and one (1) basic emergency medical <br />technician will be on-site at each football game. Mr. Cottrell abstained from voting.
