Demolition of 747/749 Harrison Avenue

Change Order No. 2 for the subject project consists of two added charges. The first charge is for unforeseen asbestos abatement in the school portion of the building, opposite from the sanctuary. Asbestos pipe was present in a crawlspace that was previously flooded and inaccessible for inspection. The added cost for this unforeseen work is $12,456.
The second charge is for unforeseen concrete removal and backfill at the rear of the church. A vault was present underneath the public alley and needed to be removed back to the property line and then properly backfilled. The added price for this unforeseen work is $5,409.
The sum total of Change Order 2 is $17,865.
All added charges to this project, consisting of Change Orders 1 and 2, are unforeseen charges.
