rejection of all bids for the above referenced project, due to the bids received exceeded
the available budget.

Cleveland South and Pinhook Well Replacements
DATE: September 11, 2026
On August 25, 2026, the Board of Public Works opened and read bids for the above project.
Two bids were received, with a breakdown of the bids as follows:
Bidder HRP Construction Inc. R. Yoder Construction Inc.
Base Bid $2,239,000.00 $2,462,400.00
Alternate Deduct 1 - $17,655.00 - $35,000.00
Alternate Deduct 2 - $25,000.00 - $35,000.00
Alternate Deduct 3 -$13,720.00 - $32,300.00
Alternate Deduct 4 - $271,000.00 - $125,000.00
Total $1,911,625.00 $2,235,100.00
After evaluating the bids, the Division of Engineering recommends that the Board of Public Works reject all bids submitted for the project, as the bid prices exceed the $1,570,000.00 available for construction funding.
