We will send a referral to KC Tree and Ellis Hardwoods, as they are more equipped to handle large removals than we are. Assessment Regarding the native dogwood on the east side of the front yard: This tree prefers a shady environment. Being in full sunlight is a stressor, and this can lead to other problems. We have a couple of recommendations to help prolong the tree's life. Planting another tree in the front yard that will eventually provide some shade for the dogwood would be a good idea. Quick, ,knowledgeable, friendly response for both evaluation and treatment of the problem. I will plan to use them for my future needs and would recommend them without any reservations. The staff members/arborist at Arborcare were very knowledgeable, professional and explained things in a way that we could understand. Also, they came on their scheduled day and time, a rarity in today’s world, and never tried to push us into making a decision on the spot. My wife and I also like how they focus on saving trees, when possible, using various treatments rather than just wanting to cut everything down. We have two older maples that need chemical treatment to improve the overall health and trimmed for better symmetry and balance. ... Punctual and reliable This Proposal is valid for the next 30 days, after which the values may be subject to change. Please note that trimming and removal services are generally scheduled chronologically (oldest to newest), except for emergency work. The timeline may be frequently affected by events out of our control including adverse weather, emergency work, and equipment or staffing issues. Advance notice will be given by text, email, or phone call. Treatments will be scheduled according to the timing and frequency specified; a reminder is sent out beforehand either by text, email, or phone call. Treatments on an annual, biennial, or triennial schedule are subject to price increases of up to 15% without advance notice due to climbing inflation rates, increased product pricing, and/or the size of the tree(s). Spray treatments can leave chemical residue in the area beneath and surrounding the tree(s). If you would like advance notice to move or cover anything beforehand, please notify our office; Arborcare employees will not be responsible for moving outdoor items or cleaning up any overspray. TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDERGROUND SYSTEMS: Customer bears responsibility for informing Arborcare, Inc. personnel of the location of any underground systems (i.e. sprinkler, septic, etc.) in the area beneath any trees being serviced, or in the path of equipment. This may be done by clearly marking the areas or providing a map of the system(s). Arborcare, Inc. is not liable for damage done to any systems of which we are not informed. DRIVEWAYS/WALKWAYS: Arborcare personnel will make every reasonable effort to be careful on driveways/walkways to avoid, to the best of their ability, any cracks or breakage from equipment. Neither Arborcare, Inc. nor its employees will be held financially responsible for any cracks or breakage that may occur. Please note that if we are not permitted to use a driveway/walkway and this is the only or most efficient way to access a tree(s), we may not be able to service the tree, or there could be an additional charge. STATED COST: Each service is calculated considering all services or like-treatments are to be performed at one time. Cost(s) of individual services and like-treatments could be higher if the customer requests only a portion of the quote to be done. A partially-approved quote may also result in an added trip fee. Any prices marked as “approximate” indicate the possibility that the price could vary should our personnel determine that additional labor/equipment charges are warranted for optimum execution of the work. Additionally, changing economic conditions which are beyond our control may dictate the need for us to include a surcharge for fuel if those costs rise dramatically between the time the Proposal is done and when the work is completed. CHANGES TO ORIGINAL PROPOSAL: Any additional services requested by the customer at the time of the original service will be executed only upon agreement with qualified personnel and will result in an extra charge over and above the agreed-upon Proposal. Likewise, there are instances 2 of 3 pages PO Box 808 | Mishawaka, IN 46546-0808 5742557173 | aarbor@sbcglobal.net | www.arborcaremichiana.com when a job requires more labor or use of equipment not anticipated at the time of the original estimate which may require an additional charge. This includes (but is not limited to) foreign substances, such as cement or bolts, in tree trunk/stump, significantly more deadwood in the tree, compromised integrity of the tree. In such a case, we will make every attempt to contact you. Should we not be able to reach you, your signature on this quote is an authorization for Arborcare, Inc. to complete the job. QUALITY ASSURANCE: All work is guaranteed to be as specified and will be completed professionally according to the current tree care industry standards. For your protection, Arborcare, Inc. is fully covered by liability insurance and Worker’s Compensation. Please note that in any tree there exists an inherent possibility of failure due to structural defects. As Certified Arborists, we are highly trained but even with our best efforts, the possibility remains of unseen/undetected structural defects/flaws that could pose a risk in the future. The customer will not hold Arborcare, Inc. or any of its employees liable for any claims for bodily injury and/or property damage as a result of the failure of any tree after we leave the premises. All agreements are contingent upon delays above and beyond our control. PAYMENT: Due upon receipt of the invoice; at 30 days past the due date, a 2% per month service charge will begin accruing monthly based on the current amount due. COLLECTIONS: The customer agrees to pay all legal, court, and collection fees incurred by Arborcare, Inc., should an invoice remain unpaid after 90 days.
