CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />AND ST. JOSEPH COUNTY <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMVISSION <br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE LANDMARK'S COMMITTEE OF <br />THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION OF <br />SOUTH BEND AND ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA <br />A Meeting of the Landmark Committee of the Historic Preservation Commission of South <br />Bend and St. Joseph County, Indiana, was held on April 21, 2025. In attendance were President <br />of the Commission, Sara Andrews, and Commission Members Peter DeKever and Kathryn Hough. <br />Also present at the meeting by invitation of the President were Historic Preservation <br />Administrator, Ross Van Overberghe; Preservation Specialist, Kate Himick; and Assistant City <br />Attorney, John Dorbin, Jr. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Meeting was called to order at 4:45 p.m. Mr. Dorbin was asked to serve as the <br />secretary of the meeting. <br />ELECTION OF CHAIR <br />The first order of business was to elect a chair to lead the Landmark's Committee. Upon <br />a motion duly made and seconded, the Committee unanimously voted to elect Mr. Peter DeKever <br />to serve as Chair of the Landmarks Committee. <br />
