East Res. <br />* Funds are subject to the City Controller's determination of availability; if funds are unavailable, as solely determined by the City Controller, then the <br />authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect. <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Approval of the Proposed License Agreement for Temporary Use to for Ingress and Egress <br />SPECIFICS: On November 25th, 2024, the Redevelopment Commission approved a purchase agreement with <br />Stoic Beverages, LLC for the parcel located at 410 W Wayne St for the development of a distillery with a tasting <br />room. Stoic Beverages has committed to invest a minimum of $300,000 in improvements to the site and to <br />complete construction no later than December 13th, 2027. <br />The proposed License Agreement for Temporary Use would permit patrons of Stoic Beverages LLC to utilize the <br />adjacent parcel owned by the Redevelopment Commission for ingress and egress to the site. Stoic Beverages will <br />be responsible for maintaining the parcel during the term of this agreement. The initial term of this agreement <br />would be ten (10) years after approval and will be renewed automatically for a one (1) year period thereafter. At <br />any time either party may terminate this agreement with one hundred twenty (120) day notice.
