Broden, John Voorde Others Present: Kareemah Fowler, Jennifer Coffman, Kathleen Cekanski- Farrand, Adriana Rodriguez, Brian Pawlowski, Pamela Meyer, Aaron Kobb, Sarah Heintzelman, Beth Leonard Inks Agenda: Dept. of Community Investment Briefing — Brian Pawlowski, Acting Executive Director Committee Chair Gavin Ferlic called the meeting of the Community Investment Committee to order at 4:44 p.m. with one item on the agenda. Dept. of Community Investment Briefing — Brian Pawlowski, Acting Executive Director Brian Pawlowski, Acting Executive Director of the Department of Community Investment on the 14' floor of the County City Building brought many members of the Community Investment team, and stated that they have had a lot of turnover in the last few months. Mr. Pawlowski gave an overview of the department and their mission statement, and his full presentation is on file in the City Clerk's Office. He explained that he served two (2) years as the Mayor's Deputy Chief of Staff, then moved over to the Department of Community Investment to work in Business Development. Immediately following, he was asked to maintain the team dynamic and make sure that the momentum on the economic development front and some of the implementation that we have going on in the City continues as the Acting Executive Director after Scott Ford left. 455 County -City Building • 227 W.
