November 12, 2015 <br /> To Whom It May Concern: <br /> I, and my neighboring homeowners and landowners are requesting the vacation of the <br /> following alley: <br /> The first east/west alley north of Sherman Ave. from the east right of way line of <br /> Sherman Ave. to the first north/south alley for a distance of 128 feet and a width of 10 <br /> feet. <br /> We wish to close the alley in order to repurpose an unused alley, increase vehicular <br /> safety,to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood, and to address public safety <br /> concerns. <br /> This alley is an east/west cross-alley which has not been maintained with either asphalt or <br /> gravel. It is currently grass area, with neighbors maintaining the area, but not able to use <br /> the area. Vehicles could not safely access the alley in its current condition.
