The Committee also reviewed a detailed policy and procedure which would establish "reasonable accommodation" regulations. These policies were also approved by the Department of Justice and HUD. The Zoning and Annexation Committee brochure which is available from the Council's website and from the Office of the City Clerk continues to be helpful to the public at large on matters which come before the Committee. I recommend that it be updated again next year since it has become a very informative and useful document. The sheer number of rezoning and special exception requests indicates that there is growing interest and activity in the City of South Bend.
