REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 10, 2014 <br />Councihnember Gavin Ferlic- Community Investment sends 14 -04 to the full council for <br />favorable recommendation <br />Presentation: Constalez Casanova- 4601 Union Parkway- I respectfully request for an extension <br />for 1 year to meet the requirement of the property tax abatement as stated by the memorandum <br />date February 26, 2011 and to also transfer the abatement from South Bend to North America. <br />A Public Hearing was now held. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to <br />this bill, Councilmember Scoot made a motion to move for the adoption this resolution. <br />Councihnember Varner seconded the motion which carried and the resolution was adopted by a <br />roll call vote of eight (8) ayes. <br />BILL NO. 14 -11 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING <br />CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1240 <br />WEST THOMAS STREET AN ECONOMIC <br />REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A (6) <br />SIX -YEAR REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />BOYD'S SERVICES <br />14 <br />
