REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 24, 2008 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend reconvened in the <br />Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the County-City Building at 7:44 p.m. Council <br />President Tim Rouse presided with nine (9) members present. <br /> <br /> <br />BILLS – THIRD READING <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9883-08 AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br /> COMMON COUNCIL OF SOUTH BEND, <br /> INDIANA AMENDING CHAPTER 2, <br /> ARTICLE 5 OF THE SOUTH BEND <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE FOR <br /> PREAPPROVED PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> <br />This bill had third reading. Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to amend this bill as <br />in the Committee of the Whole. Councilmember Dieter seconded the motion which <br />carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. Additionally, Councilmember Dieter made a <br />motion to pass this bill as amended in the Committee of the Whole. Councilmember <br />Oliver Davis seconded the motion which carried. The bill passed by a roll call vote of <br />nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 9884-08 AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br /> COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> TRANSFERRING SIXTY-SIX <br /> THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWO <br /> DOLLARS AND ELEVEN CENTS <br /> ($66,702.11) IN DORMANT MONIES <br /> FROM VARIOUS FUNDS TO GENERAL <br /> FUND NO. 101 AND CLOSING OUT THE <br /> VARIOUS FUNDS <br /> <br />This bill had third reading.
