South Bend, IN 46628 <br />Honorable Members of the City of <br />South Bend Common Council <br />4'h Floor County -City Building <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />December 24, 2014 <br />RE: Vacation Petition for several Alleys & Streets bounded by Kemble Street on the West, the <br />Norfolk & Southern Railroad (Old Penn Central RR) on the North, Scott Street on the East and <br />Indiana Avenue on the South all in the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />Dear Council Members: <br />On behalf of our clients, City of South Bend Department of Community Investment, we are <br />requesting the approval of the Vacation for all the Public Alleys & Streets bounded by Kemble <br />Street on the West, the Norfolk & Southern Railroad (Old Penn Central RR) on the North, Scott <br />Street on the East and Indiana Avenue on the South all in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />The reason for this request is to allow for the next phase of development to be known as <br />Ignition Park South. Once the Alleys and Streets are vacated, it will allow the City to move <br />ahead with creating a new subdivision for Ignition Park South. <br />We would request that this Vacation Petition be heard at the same time as the Rezoning <br />Petition for this area. <br />If you have any questions concerning this matter, please feel free to give me a call at 234- <br />4003. <br />Sin rely, <br />Michael J.
