Annexation Area <br />K Hiring Plan <br />It is anticipated that this annexation will not result in the elimination of jobs for employees of any <br />other governmental entities. The German Township Trustee has been notified of this annexation. <br />SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br />A. Public Works <br />Sewer - The sanitary sewer mains are currently in place and available to service the area <br />No additional expenditures will be needed to extend existing sewer main facilities. <br />Water - There is currently a 12" water main on Brick Road which intersects a 10" main on New <br />Cleveland. The main is not immediately adjacent to the site, but is accessible, through public <br />property and is approximately 100 feet away. <br />No additional expenditures will be needed to extend existing water main facilities. <br />Street Lighting - Street lighting, if provided, will be paid out of the Airport Economic <br />Development Area TIF. Once installed, the maintenance and utility bill are paid by the City at a <br />cost of approximately $13 per light per month. No determination as been made at this time on the <br />number of street lights that will be required. For purposes of determining an approximate cost, the <br />installation of 1 light is assumed, but final a count is to be determined at time of Public works <br />approval of the engineering and construction drawings. <br />1 x 13 = $ 13.00 per month x 12 = $156.00 per year x 5 years = $780.00 <br />Waivers of Annexation - No waivers of the right to remonstrate against an annexation are in effect <br />for this area. <br />Streets - Expansion of the U.S. 31 hidustrial Park and surrounding area as well as re- development <br />of the Gaby property and that surrounding it are expected to result in improvements to Brick Road <br />east of the intersection with Cleveland Road. However, these improvements are not necessary to <br />service the Gaby property as it is currently developed. Upon annexation, this portion of Brick <br />Road will add mileage to the roadway inventory. The new mileage will increase distributions to <br />the City's Motor Vehicle Highway Fund and Local Road and Street Account sufficient for street <br />maintenance, sweeping, and snow removal. <br />Drainage Plan - Any improvements to Brick Road will require an approved drainage plan. The <br />Sewer Maintenance Bureau will maintain the storm water system with revenues from wastewater <br />collection and treatment. <br />
