Substitute Bill No. I7 -14 <br />Responsible Animal and Pet Ownership Care and Control Regulation Ordinance <br />Page 63 <br />1) human medical bills, <br />2) victim veterinary and/or medical bills, <br />3) replacement cost of animal, <br />4) property damage, <br />5) lost wages, and or <br />6) counseling or psychological treatment obtained by victim directly related to violation incident. <br />All fines for violations of this Cha ter shall bg aid within ten 10 da s of the issuance of a citation.. <br />Sec. 5 -112 Through Sec. 5 -119 Reserved for Future Use. <br />Article 9. Rental Horses. <br />See. 5-120 Definitions. <br />For the purpose of this sue, Article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context <br />clearly indicates or requires a different meaning- <br />(a)Carriage Horse. Any horse or pony which is used by its owner or any other person to pull any <br />vehicle, carriage, sled, sleigh or other device in exchange for a fee. A horse rented or leased by its <br />owner to another for any of the foregoing purposes shall be deemed to be a carriage horse for the <br />purposes of this sube#a Article. <br />(b)Rental Horse Business. A business enterprise which operates a horse drawn vehicle for hire such as a <br />horse drawn cab, or offers the use of a horse to the public for a fee for the purpose of riding or pulling a <br />horse drawn vehicle. <br />(c) Stable. Any place, establishment or facility where one or more rental horses are housed, boarded for <br />a fee, or maintained. <br />(d) Work. A horse is considered to be at work when it is out of its stable and presented to the public as <br />being available for riding, pulling carriages, vehicles or other device, or when it is saddled or in harness. <br />Sec. 5 -121 Permits and Administration. <br />(a) It shall constitute a violation of this su-behapt Article for any person or corporation to use or offer <br />for use a horse in a rental horse business without a license issued pursuant to the regulations and <br />conditions set out hereinafter. No owner or operator of a rental horse business shall permit a carriage <br />driver to operate without a valid chauffeur or operator's permit to drive. <br />(b) Licenses shall be issued for a term of one Qjyear and shall be renewed annually. <br />(c)An application for a license or renewal of a license shall be made to the Dew Division of <br />Animal Care and Control. Applications for renewal must be submitted no later than ten (1 „0) business <br />days prior to expiration of the current license. All such applications shall contain the name and address <br />
