The field located at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Recreational Center has <br /> been underutilized and underfunded for a decade and a half and through city funds and <br /> countless contributions from local donors the field will once again serve as a true asset <br /> for the west side community. <br /> "It is always a humbling experience and honor to give thanks and accolades to the <br /> trailblazers before me.
