BLOUGH CITY CLERK, SO"'TH BEND, WE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, SECTION 3, SUBSECTIONS (15) AND (16) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1962 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: 1 Section 1: 2 3 That Chapter 9, Section 3, Subsections (15) and (16) of the 4 Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962 is amended 5 to read as follows: 6 7 (15) Subsection 301.1 is amended to read as follows: 8 9 10 301.1 Fire District No. 1 (Establish boundaries of Fire District 11 No. 1 according to the following description)Fire District No. l.shall 12 comprise the areas housing highly congested business,com-nercial,man- 13 ufacturing and industrial uses or in which such uses are developing. 14 The limits of such areas are described as bounded by a line beginning 15 at the intersection of the center line of East Jefferson Boulevard 16 and the center line of the St. Joseph River; thence easterly along 17 the center line of East Jefferson Boulevard to the center line of 18 St. Louis Boulevard; thence northerly along the center line of said 19 Boulevard to the center line of South Bend Avenue; thence south - 20 westerly along the center line of said avenue to the center line of 21 Hill Street; thence northerly along the center line of said street 22 to the center line of Crescent Street; thence south- westerly along 23 the center line of said street to the center line of the first alley 24 west of Hill Street; thence northerly along the center line of said 25 alley to the center line of the first alley north of Kalarama Street 26 extended; thence westerly along the center line of said alley extended 27 to the center line of the St. Joseph River; thence southerly along the 28 center line of said river to the center line of Marion Street extended; 29 thence westerly along the center line of said street to the center 30 line of St. Joseph Street; thence northerly along the center line of 31 said street to the center line of Bartlett Street; thence westerly 32 along the center line of said street to the center line of Main Street;
