AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1• That the following described property in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, is herdby annexed to and brought within the City of South Bend, Indiana: A part of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, in Center Township, South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the North- east one quarter (a) of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence South 000 20' 30" East 1,237.25 feet along the west line of the NE4 of Section 31, said line also being the centerline of York Road; thence due East 165 feet to the point of beginning, also being the Northwest corner of this tract of land herein described, and also being a point on the present city limits line; thence South along the present city limits on a line parallel to and 165 feet East of the centerline of York Road a distance of 1135 feet; thence due West a distance of 165 feet to the centerline of York Road; thence South along the centerline of York Road a distance of 300 feet; thence North 890 12' 39" East 1,318.91 feet; thence North 000 22' 24" West 1,418.47 feet; thence South 890 55' 40" West 1,152.30 feet to the point of beginning, containing 39.11 acres, all in Center Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana.
