Roles: a. The NRC will function as the intermediary between the artist studio, cstackstudios, LLC., neighborhood associations, and the appropriate city offices. They will coordinate the action plan, provide a 501(c) 3 status for the project, act as fiscal agent, and assist with all aspects from planning, to implementation, to advertising and to solicitation. b. cstackstudios, LLC., will function as the coordinating business that prepares the project, works with the neighbors, takes measurements, identifies and contracts local artists, approves imagery, oversees the event, and assists in its implementation, documentation and assessment. c. Local neighborhood associations will identify the most problematic areas and homes, identify local artists and those with talent, provide a common meeting and gathering space within the neighborhood and actively promote the project to other community organizations and groups. d. Local businesses will provide funding for the project and will have their logo placed somewhere visible within each painted surface, per home. They will also provide assistance and volunteers on March 8 and 9. e. The City of South Bend will provide records of available homes, permits for replacement of covering materials, and access to each abandoned or vacant home. f. Local artists will be identified and gathered and offered the opportunity to work on the project. This structure provides financial incentive for each of the artists involved. g. Volunteers will assist in preparing the surfaces, overseeing and helping with'the two - day event, and assisting in the installation of the panels. Financials: • Per house sponsorship for local businesses (either full house or just front fagade) includes supplies and materials, labor (artist fee), administration and coordination, and advertising. • Supply and materials will be determined on a per house basis. • Artists will receive $100.00 per fagade treatment per house • The NRC will receive $100.00 per house for coordination • cstackstudios, LLC., will receive $100.00 per house for administration and implementation • The local neighborhood association will receive a $100.00 donation per house for active advertisement in their neighborhood. • The average total cost per house for a front fagade is $500 • Full homes or homes with more than four front windows and a front door will be calculated and adjusted accordingly.
