I (We), the undersigned, do hereby respectfully make applica- tion and petition the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend as hereinafter requested, and in support of this application, the following facts are shown: 1. The property sought to be rezoned is located at: LaSalle, Niles and Monroe Streets 2. The property is owned by: Indiana and Michigan Electric Company 3. A legal description of the property is as follows: Situated in the Township of Portage,.County.of St. Joseph, and State of Indiana, and known as being the Easterly 218.6.feet of Lots No. 31, 32 and 33, and the Easterly 218.6 feet of a vacated alley located South of and adjacent to Lot No. 33; also`Lot No. 34, excepting a parcel 33 feet, north and south, and 125 feet east and west; at the Southeast corner of said Lot. Also; all of the East Mill Race being approximately.66 feet east and west, by 198 feet north and south, lying West of and adjacent to Lots 34, 35 and 36; also, an irregular shaped parcel,. 58.2 feet along LaSalle Street by 128.5 feet North and South, lying West of the East Mill Race. . Also, 7.5 feet of vacated alley located North of and adjacent to the Westerly 110 feef of Lot No. 34, all as shown in the Original Plat of Lowell, Portage Township, Section 12, City of South Bend, Indiana.
