REGULAR MEETING MARCH 11, 1957 ary 1957, was given public hearing under date of 7 March 1957. The Ordinance seeks to change the zoning classifica- tion from "C" Commercial to "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and Area District, of the following real estate: Lots 8 through 11 Inclusive of Longa Heights Addition (unrecorded). Councilman Hahn made a motion for sus - pensipn of rules. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Muszynski). The ordinance was then given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Muszynski). ORDINANCE NO. 4149 AN ORDINANCE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA, WHICH SAID REAL ESTATE IS OWNED BY SAID CITY FOR USE OF ITS PARK DEPARTMENT. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion for suspen- sion of rules. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Muszynski). The Ordinance was then given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent (Muszynski). ORDINANCE NO. 4150 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 of CHAPTER 2 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709, WHICH IS SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3645 ADOPTED ON THE 8th DAY OF JUNE, 1948. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Kroll made a motion for sus- pension of rules. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND $30,000.00 TO STREET DEPARTMENT S265, SPECIAL UNITED STATES CENSUS, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1957 AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on March 25, 1957. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. Motion carried.
