■ice <br />9 `IC; <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3980 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702--COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ". <br />MAY 10TH, 1954 <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion for <br />suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 <br />absent (Councilmen Alford and Pinter). <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Alford and <br />Pinter). <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3981 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND G. W. FALCON, D /B/A FALCON MARM COMPANY, <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWER RIVER CROSSINGS. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion for <br />suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 <br />absent (Councilmen Alford and Pinter). <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 7 ayes - 2 absent (Councilmen Alford <br />and Pinter). <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COffliONLY KNOWN AS "THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ". <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion that <br />the ordinance be referred to committee on Miscellaneous Business for further study. Councilman Bestle <br />seconded the motion. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDDINANCE CONCERNING DEALERS IN SCRAP OR JUNK MATERII-LS, AND <br />PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATION THEREOF, PENALTIES FOR THE <br />VIOLATION, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. <br />Councilman Hahn, Chairman of Ordinance Committee, announced that the committee will have report in two weeks <br />on the above ordinance. <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the question of "garbage collection" be postponed until May 24th. <br />Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilmen Muszynski made a motion to adjourn, which <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Hahn.
