REGULAR MEETING <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COIDAISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />MARCH 26TH, 1951 <br />Petition of Bela and Mary Keresztes for change of zoning of Lot #2 in Citizens Homes Co. Replat of Lots No. 1, <br />2, 3, 4, 21 and 22 in Walnut 4th Addition from C commercial and D height and area district to B residence and <br />A height and area district has been given public hearing by the City Plan Commission. <br />This change is recommended as petitioned for. <br />This lot is on North side of Prairie Avenue East of Jackson Street. <br />This lot is near the lots petitioned for change by Alex Kovacsics et. al. and the change is the same so all of <br />these can be included in the same ordinance. <br />CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />By: D. Moomaw, Secretary <br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />To the Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />Petition of Alex Kovacsics et. al. for change of zoning of Lots #49 and 52 in Whiteman's First Addition and Lots <br />#59, 60, 85, 88 and 89 in Prairie Avenue Heights Addition from C commercial and D height and area districts to <br />B residence and A height and area districts has been given public hearing by the City Plan Commission. <br />This change is recommended as petitioned for. <br />These lots are in the 1900 and 2000 block Prairie Avenue. They are not continuous along the street but the <br />City Plan Commission is studying the zoning in that area with the idea cf changing other lots on those blocks <br />residential. <br />CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />By: D. Motion <br />carried. <br />ORDMANCE NO. 3805 " <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN CITY OFFICIALS <br />AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, EFFECTIVE <br />JANUARY 1, 1952, AND REFE ALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF <br />ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3806 <br />AN ORDINANCE ORDERING AND PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF THE FOLLOWING <br />DESCRIBED REAL RESTATE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, <br />INDIANA, TO -WIT: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Numbered G2 in <br />Wenger and Kreighbaums Vistula Avenue Addition to the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, thence Northerly parallel <br />with the East line of Lincoln Way East 136.7 feet; thence <br />East 30 feet; thence North 50 feet; thence East to the <br />St. Joseph River; thence Southwesterly to a point directly <br />East of the place of beginning; thence West to the place <br />of beginning, subject to the right of the City of South <br />Bend to construct an interceptor sewer across said land <br />at the approximate location and depth as shown on the <br />plans for the interceptor sewer in the Engineer's Office <br />of said city. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3807 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN . <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />(Lot on the North side of Prairie Avenue East of <br />Jackson Street) <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Tellson made a motion <br />for suspension of rules. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of <br />8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />
