613 REGULAR MEETING MARCH 13TH, 1950 ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. (Lots 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 of Leeper's Second Addition) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Kemper made a motion that the ordinance be held up for further investigation. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Indiana Gent lemon t, Petition of Katherine Kuberske for change of zoning of Lot and A height and area district to C commercial and D heigh Plan Commission on March 2, 19500 This change is recommended as petitioned for. This-lot is at the N.E. corner of Ford and Meade Streets. March 3, 1950 #658 in Third Plat of Smmnit Place from B residence t and area district was given public hearing by City CITY PLAN COMMISSION By D. Moomaw, Seely. Councilman'-Korpal made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 3735 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. (Lot 658 of the 3rd Plat of Summit Place `Addition) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Muszynski made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Ind. Gent lament February 3, 1950 Petition of University Enterprises, Inc. for change of zoning of Lots 28 to 50 inclusive and 75 to 97 inclusive in University Heights Addition from A residence to B residence district. The location -of these lots is shown on sketch attached hereto. The City Plan Commission does not recommend this change. Remonstrance also attached hereto. CITY PLAN COMMISSION By D. Moomaw, Seely. Councilman Tellson made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 3702 ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ON JUNE 13, 1949, AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. (Lots 28 to 50 Inc. and 75 to 97 Inc., University Heights Addition) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 0 ayes - 6 nays. The ordinance was given third reading and lost by a roll call vote of 0 ayes - 8 nays (Erler, Korpal, Tellson, Bestle, Niezgodski, Glass, Kemper and Muszynski). REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Ind. Gentlemen: March 3, 1950 Petition of Henry D. Hukill, et al for change of zoning of Lots #315, 316, 3170 321, 322 and 323 in Samuel Cottrell's 1st Addition excepting the west 55 fte of lot 315 and the west 55 ft. of the north 11 feet of Lot 316 from B residence district to C commercial district was given public hearing by City Plan Commission on March 2, 1950. This change is recommended as petitioned for. CITY PLAN COMMISSION These lots are on the north side of Jefferson Blvd. By D. Moomaw, Seely. between St. Peter St. and Notre Dame Ave. Councilman Kemper made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried.
