,6U6 <br />II REGUTA R MEETING JANUARY 9TH, 1950 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS AMENDED, WHICH ORDINANCE <br />IS COMMONLY CALLED THE'ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />(Property fronting on the south side of Mishawaka Ave. 2141 feet and a depth <br />of 1016.4) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and lost by a roll call vote of 2 ayes - 5 nays (Eyler, Bestle, <br />Niezgodski, Glass, Kemper ) 1 Not Voting, Muszynski. <br />REASONS: <br />Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance be referred back to the City Plan Commission for the reason <br />that the people do not want that type of building across from Pottawanamie Park. Councilman Kemper seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3731 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE. (Lots 10 to.26 Inc. and 53 to 62 Inc, etc.) <br />The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 55, OF CHAPTER 29, OF ORDINANCE NO. <br />3709, APPROVED JULY 12, 1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS "MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1949'. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a <br />mot 9p._that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for Public gearing on January 23rd, 1950' <br />Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM CF $383.33 FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />OF THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,..TO THE BUDGETARY <br />ITEM C -11, SERVICES- PERSONAL, OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, IN THE 1950 <br />MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND <br />DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a moti <br />that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for Public Hearing on January 23rd, 1950. <br />Councilman Kemper seconded the motion.
