The Council voted unanimously to accept the communication and place it on file. PETITION South Bend, Indiana December 6th, 1940 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: We, the undersigned, being the owners of one hundred (100) per cent of the frontage involved, hereby petition your body to change the zoning of all Lots in the John Adams 1st Addition to the City of South Bend from Light Industrial to "B " Residential and from "E" Height and Area to "A" Height and Area. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Dec. 99 1940 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance reducing certain appropriations for the Health Depa ment for the year 1941 and transferring the amount so reduced to the General Fund" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall go to the Council favorably. LEO M. JORDAN, Chairman Councilman Pulaski made a motion to accept the report. Councilman Richardson seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE Dec. 9, 1940 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance appropriating the sum of $500.00 from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to the Health Department Account for Motor Equipment and declaring an emergency. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall go to the Council favorably. LEO M. REPORT OF THE COT11MITTEE OF THE WHOLE DEC. 9, 1940 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance amending Ordinance -#2331, adopted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana., June 25, 1923, and commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance. ",..u�__ , Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall be kept in the Committee of the Whole until December 230 1940, at which time exponents of the ordinance shall 'be in attendance. REPORT OF THE CONUAITTEE OF THE WHOLE Dec. 9, 1940 To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ordinance amending Ordinance 2331, adopted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on June 25, 1934, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance." Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance shall go to the Council unfavorably. LEO M.
