2o6 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is informed that the price of milk to consumers in <br />the City of South Bend is as high as in any city in the State of Indiana, and higher than the average price to ci <br />sumers in this State, and <br />WHEREAS, the. price of milk to consumers in South Bend was fixed by the Milk Control Board after hearings were held <br />at which producers and distributors of milk were principally represented, and at which the consuming public, or <br />its representatives,.had little part, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED that the Milk Control Board of the State of Indiana be asked to review the price of <br />milk to consumers in the City of South Bend for the purpose of determining if the price cannot be lowered, that <br />when a hearing, or hearings, are held that the Milk Control Board send a notice thereof to the City Clerk of the <br />City of South Bend, in order that members of this Council may attend and be heard in t he interest of the consumers, <br />The City Clerk is hereby directed to s end a copy of this Resolution to the Milk Control Board of Indiana. <br />J.
