REGULAR MEETING 5EYTc9lfLit c OF COMMITTEE OF THE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of theWhole to wl ;. was referred t' AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRVITIONS TO THE SERVICES - CONTRACTUAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 1,500.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE-FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND." Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred " AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PROPERTIES ACCOUNT OF THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $270.00" Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as-favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION September 9, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend, Indiana ntlemen: The attached petition of the Common Council to annex to the City of South Bend 159 acres, more or less, generally described as being bounded on the North by the present City Limits, on the East by Ironwood Road, on the West by the east line of Crest Manor Subdivision Section 3, and,:,bn thw.:soath bjF the half- section line of Section 31 was legally advertised under date of July 25, 1964 and was given public hearing on August 6, 1964. The following action was taken under date of September 2, 1965: After due consideration the Commission found that in their opinion the six determinants of annexation apply to the area at issue.
