REGULAR MEETING JULY 29 1965 <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 19, 1965 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South. Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "C" Commercial Use EI <br />and "A" and "D" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property <br />generally described as bounded on the North by Calvert Street, on the East by Grant Street, on the South by Ewing <br />Avenue and the alley between Ewing and Highland Avenues was legally advertised under date of June 21, 1965 and <br />given public hearing on July 1, 1965. The following action was taken: 1� <br />After due consideration the Commission found that <br />the proposed zoning would be in the best interest <br />of the subject area. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the <br />proposed zoning would be in the best interest 6f the <br />subject property. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that <br />the proposed zoning would help to preserve the <br />existing character of the area.
