REGULAR MEETING JULY 29 1965 REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION July 19, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South. Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "C" Commercial Use EI and "A" and "D" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally described as bounded on the North by Calvert Street, on the East by Grant Street, on the South by Ewing Avenue and the alley between Ewing and Highland Avenues was legally advertised under date of June 21, 1965 and given public hearing on July 1, 1965. The following action was taken: 1� After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would be in the best interest of the subject area. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would be in the best interest 6f the subject property. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would help to preserve the existing character of the area.
