REGULAR MEETING erntL sc 17v� ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ZONING AN ANNEXED TRACT NOW WITHIN AND A PART OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Bounded on North by Darden Road, on the East by Riverside Drive, on the South by Northerly boundary of Riverside Manor Second Section and on West by extension of Glenview Drive) TO: THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY ' OF SOUTH BEND, South,Bend, Indiana April 12, 1965 The undersigned respectfully asked leave to withdraw its Petition asking for the rezoning from "A" Residential j use district to "A -2" Residential use district of the following described real estate, now pending before your . Honorable Body: That area located in the Southwest One Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section Twenty -three (23), Township Thirty -eight (38) North, Range Two (2), East, German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, that is bounded on the North by Darden Road, on the East by Riverside Drive, on the South by the Northerly boundary of Riverside Manor Second Section, an addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, and on the West by an extension of Glenview Drive. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND ON THE 14TH DAY OF JUNE, 1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Northwest corner of Lincoln Way West & Iowa St.) i The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on May 10, 1965. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN LAND SITUATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH I . BEND, INDIANA (Southeast corner of intersection of Miami and Lincoln Way East covering 1114 tbtough 1134 Lincoln Way East and 1232 through 1240 Miami) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Smith made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on April 27, 1965. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0, 370231 AS AMENDED, WHICH !' ORDINANCE IS COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA (Located on Hickory Road, approximately 726 feet North of McKinley Highway on the West side of Hickory Road, frontage of 125 feet on Hickory Road and a depth of 200 feet) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Palmer made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on April 27, 1965. Councilman Smith seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE N0. 4608 -63 KNOWN AS THE "MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, 1962" (Taxi Ordinance) The Clerk read a communication from Richard C. Ellis, President of the Courtesy Cab Company, requesting that a copy of the proposed ordinance be forwarded to them. Councilman Geib made a motion that a copy of the proposed ordinance be forwarded to Mr. Ellis. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried.
