REGULAR MEETING Arn1j, <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4649• -64 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CITY WATER WORKS AND THE JAMES B. CLOW & SON, INC..FOR THE <br />PURCHASE: OF PIPES AND FITTINGS IN THE SUM OF $7,291.64 AND <br />VALES IN THE SUM OF $4,230.75. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Geib made a motion for <br />suspension of rules. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilman Glass and the Fire Chief requested the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance urging property owners <br />to use containers with holes and covers for burning debris instead of wire baskets. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Counc ilman Muszynski made a motion to adjourn.
