REPORT OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION October 8, 1962 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bead South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the recently annexed land being generally described as a parcel of land 814 feet east and west by 275 feet north and south frosting on Hickory Road and being 1290 feet north of Edison Road was legally advertised under date of Septem- ber 24, 1962 and given public hearing on October 4, 1962. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the best zoning for subject area would be residential. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION /s /Robert L. Huff Robert L. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the best zoning for the area would be residential.
