Councilman Muszyneki seconded the <br />motion.- Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMtIISSION <br />July 9, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone "E" Heavy Industrial Use and "A" Height and Area <br />District the recently annexed land being generally described as bounded on the west by Linden Road; on the south <br />by Chippewa Avenue; on the east by the north -south centerline of Section 23, T37N, R2E, and on the north by the <br />south property line of Rum Village Park was legally advertised under date of June 25, 1962, and given public hearing <br />on July 5, 1962. The following actica was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the best use for the area in question would be industrial. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 9, 1962 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bond, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the Common Council to annex to the City of South Bend, Indiana 52.6 acres, more or less, <br />in the Southeast One Quarter of Section 32, T38N, R3E, being generally described as bounded on the south by Edison <br />Road, on the east by Edison Road Addition and Logan Street (Hickory Road), and on the north and west by the present <br />city limits was legally advertised under date of June 25, 1962 and given public hearing on July 5, 1962. The follow- <br />ing action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the six determinants of annexation exist. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public hearing on August 13, 1962. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 3702, ADOPTED BY.THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND ON THE 14th DAY OF JUNE, 1949, COMONLY KNOWN <br />AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(Land on Lincolaway, Allen and Lindsey) <br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Lehman made a motion that the <br />Ordinance be set for public Hearing on July 23, 1962. Councilman Muszynski seconded the notion. Motion carried. <br />
