144 COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING CITY PLAN COMMISSION AUGUST,31, 1959 Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Budget for the City Plan Commission be approved. and go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. URBAN REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the Budget for the Urban Redevelopment Commission be approved and go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried. HOSPITAL FUND Councilman Korpal made a motion that the Budget for the Hospital Fund be approved and go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. ART ASSOCIATION FUND Councilman Erhardt made a motion that the Budget for theArt Association Fund be approved and go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. GENERAL (BOND) FUND Councilman Glass made a motion that the Budget for the General (bond) Fund be approved and go to the Council as favorable. Councilman Christman seconded the motion. Motion carried. PARK DISTRICT FUND Councilman Erhardt made a motion that the Budget for the Park District Fund be approved and go to the Councilmas favorable. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Korpal made a motion that the Budget for 1960 for the City of South Bend, Indiana, be approved and go to Council as favorable, as amended. Councilman Muszynski sem nded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1959 FOR THE CIVIL CITY.OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA Proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard on this Ordinance. Councilman Erhardt made a motion to amend the Tax Levy by striking General Fund 1.75 and inserting 1.74; by "striking Maintenance .29 and inserting .25; by striking Firemen's Pension Fund .143 and inserting .112; Police Pension Fund by striking .118 and inserting .098; City Plan Commission by striking .02 and inserting .018; Urban Redevelopment Commission by strking .033 and inserting .023; Total by striking 2.721 and inserting 2.608. Councilman Tellson seconded the motion. Motion carried. Councilman Korpal moved that the Ordinance Fixing the Tax Levy for the year 1960 for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, be approved and go to the Council as favorable, as amended. Councilman Muszynski sem nded the motion. Motion carried. , There being no further business to come before the Committee of the Whole, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn, Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion.
